Nextopia “Jazz & Coffee” performance in Bangkok New Trio by Bruno Brugnano

The fourth edition of the “Capitals of Italian Creativity in the World” competition saw the Italian Cultural Institute in Bangkok emerge as the winner, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Thailand, thanks to the multidisciplinary project “Italia Reloaded. Tradition, Aesthetics, and Innovation between Taste and Memory.” This program also includes “Sip of Italy,” a multidisciplinary event dedicated to the world of coffee, exploring its cultural, social, and sensorial dimensions.

In addition to the exhibition and lectures, Nextopia hosts a rich cultural program featuring renowned Italian artists from around the world and in Thailand.

On the occasion of World Jazz Day, Bruno Brugnano’s Bangkok New Trio—tenor saxophone with Passakorn Morasilpin, double bass with Tanarat Chaichana, and guitar with Bruno Brugnano—presents “Jazz & Coffee,” a musical performance that offers spectators a synesthesia experience, intertwining a refined dialogue between sound and the sensorial experience of coffee.

The Trio is an established artistic force in Thailand and considered a flagship of the Thai capital’s jazz scene.
