“A Language of Genius: Conceiving, Designing, and Creating with Italian”
For the 26th edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, the Italian Cultural Institute in Bangkok—in collaboration with local partners dedicated to promoting Italian language and culture—once again hosts this traditional event aimed at spreading and showcasing the Italian language globally. “Lingua geniale: ideare, progettare, creare con l’italiano” is the theme chosen for this edition, inviting an exploration of the profound connection between language, culture, and creativity. Italian thus emerges not only as the expression of an extraordinarily rich cultural heritage but also as a language capable of shaping thought, giving form to ideas, and transforming creativity into tangible projects and innovation.

Premio Somsri 2026 | Video contest Sarà l’amore per l’Italia
You can enter the competition and submit your video from September 14 to October 4.
Established in memory of Somsri Pobpipugtra, the Premio Somsri pays tribute to a figure who, for over thirty years, contributed to the promotion of Italian language and culture and to the strengthening of cultural ties between Italy and Thailand.
