How to apply?
To register for the exam, candidates must send the following documents to the email address iicbangkok.secretary@esteri.it:
– A copy of passport valid through exam date
– Completed form (please specify on the form or in the email if registering for the B1 cittadinanza exam)
– Proof of payment
Documents must be submitted in PDF or JPG format and must not exceed a total size of 5 MB.
Registration must be for a single level only.

*For the B1 cittadinanza exam, it is not possible to retake one exam sections.

Bank transfer to the Italian Cultural Institute in Bangkok, payable to the following account:

The amount to be paid must be net of any bank transfer fees charged by the bank.
Please include the candidate’s name, the exam session date, and the requested certification level in the payment reference/description.
*Registration will be considered valid only after the registration fee has been successfully credited to the IIC Bangkok account. The candidate will receive an email confirmation from the IIC.
Registrations received after the closing date will not be considered.
Please ensure all sections of the form are completed—including the privacy information—and include the location, date, and signature.
Candidates who have previously taken the CILS exam but did NOT pass all sections have a period of 18 months from the exam date to retake the failed sections. They must also provide their registration number.
