The Italian Cultural Institute in Bangkok, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Thailand, has won the fourth edition of the “Capitals of Italian Creativity in the World” competition with the multidisciplinary project “Italia Reloaded: Tradition, Aesthetics, and Innovation between Taste and Memory“.
As part of this initiative, the Italian Cultural Institute Bangkok is pleased to support the talk “The Challenge of Architectural Heritage in Contemporary Bangkok” which will be held on April 19, 2026, at the Neilson Hays Library. The event offers a dialogue dedicated to the challenge of preserving architectural heritage in Bangkok.
The programme:
- From 2:00 PM to 3:20 PM: A seminar with Chatuporn Sukprasit, Pailin Chitprasertsuk, and Dr. Dorian Reunkrilerk.
- From 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM: A “Heritage Site Tour,” a guided tour to explore the library’s hidden spaces and discover the secrets of its original architectural design.
