Bangkok World Music Day ’26

Italian Jazz Enchants Bangkok with Claudio Filippini at World Music Day 2026

The capital’s premier musical celebration returns: on June 13, 2026, Bangkok will host the latest edition of Bangkok World Music Day. In this vibrant atmosphere of festivity and cultural exchange, the Italian Cultural Institute of Bangkok and CIDIM (Comitato Nazionale Italiano Musica) are proud to announce the participation of acclaimed pianist Claudio Filippini, performing in collaboration with Alliance Française Bangkok.

This event stands as a cornerstone of artistic dialogue, bringing the excellence of Italian jazz to one of Southeast Asia’s most highly anticipated cultural manifestations.

What is Bangkok World Music Day?

Inspired by France’s world-renowned Fête de la Musique, Bangkok World Music Day is a grand, free-to-all event dedicated to celebrating artistic diversity and ensuring open access to culture in public spaces.

Supported by One Bangkok, the Embassy of France in Thailand, and Alliance Française, alongside Live Promotions and numerous partners, the festival transforms the city into an open-air stage. Following the extraordinary success of 2025—which drew over 7,000 visitors—the 2026 edition aims to build on this momentum with an even more diverse and international lineup.
