Each year around two million students attend italian language courses ouside of the Italian territory, worldwide. The reasons are many:
- Italian is a cultural language. To know it is to gain access to a rich literary heritage, to humanistic and scientific texts of great value, and to theatrical, musical, cinematic and television productions of great importance for European history;
- Italian is a scholarly language. Many are the students that each year decide to attend Italian schools, Universities, Academies and Libraries;

- visiting Italy and meeting its open and welcoming people is an even greater pleasure when speaking Italian!
