The European Union Film Festival 2026 takes audiences on a journey through the finest of European cinema under the theme “See Beyond. Feel Beyond.” This year’s concept invites viewers to look deeper into the meaning behind the screen, exploring human stories, relationships, and evolving social landscapes. For this edition, the Embassy of Italy in Thailand, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Bangkok, is proud to present an authentic contemporary masterpiece: the multi-award-winning period comedy-drama “There’s Still Tomorrow” (C’è ancora domani, 2023). The film has been selected to showcase the depth of Italian culture, art, and the perspectives of contemporary society to local audiences.
About the Film
Set in mid-1940s Rome, within a society painstakingly striving to rebuild itself in the aftermath of World War II, the story follows Delia, whose life is tightly bound to the traditional roles of wife and mother of three. Submissive to Ivano, her short-tempered and authoritarian husband, and burdened with the care of an ill-tempered father-in-law, Delia’s only moments of solace are found in brief chats with a close friend. Her greatest hope lies in the upcoming marriage of her eldest daughter, Marcella, whom she wishes will escape a similar pre-determined fate. However, the arrival of a mysterious, unexpected letter ignites the courage within her to overturn every plan, inspiring her to strive for a better future and a life of dignity. The film runs for 118 minutes and will be screened in its original language with English and Thai subtitles.

Admission Details
Admission to all screenings is entirely free of charge, and no advance booking is required. Tickets can be collected directly from the venue’s box office starting one hour before the screening time, with a maximum of two tickets per person. Please note that seating is limited and will be allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
