The Embassy of Italy in Bangkok and the Italian Cultural Institute Bangkok cordially invite you to the screening of “There’s Still Tomorrow” at the European Union Film Festival 2026.

The European Union Film Festival 2026 takes audiences on a journey through exceptional European cinema under the theme “See Beyond. Feel Beyond.” This year’s festival invites us to look deeper into the meanings beneath the surface—exploring stories of people, relationships, and societal transformation.

In this year’s edition, the Embassy of Italy in Thailand, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute, is proud to present a cinematic masterpiece from Italy. Reflecting contemporary Italian culture and social perspectives, we invite you to experience the acclaimed period comedy-drama “There’s Still Tomorrow” (C’è ancora domani, 2023).

Film Information: “There’s Still Tomorrow” (2023)

Synopsis: Set in mid-1940s Rome, amidst a society struggling to recover in the aftermath of World War II, “Delia” navigates her life defined by her roles as a wife and a mother of three. She lives under the oppressive rule of “Ivano,” her short-tempered and domineering husband, while also bearing the burden of caring for her father-in-law. Her small moments of joy come from chatting with her close friend, and her ultimate hope in life is to see her eldest daughter, “Marcella,” marry well and escape the cycle.

However, one day, a mysterious letter arrives for Delia. This unexpected letter sparks the courage within her to overturn all existing plans and begin wishing for a better future and a better life.

  • Ticketing: No advanced booking. Tickets can be collected at the venue’s ticket counter starting 1 hour before the screening time.

  • Conditions: Maximum of 2 tickets per person. (Seats are limited and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis).
